The Woodside Lake Board sponsors various social events throughout the summer provided that we can find volunteers to help make these events a success! Social events have historically been very popular at our little lake. It’s a wonderful way to meet and connect with your neighbors while keeping the kids entertained. Contact any board member to let them know you are willing to help with these events – or that you are interested in heading up the social committee!
Upcoming Events
Annual Lake Clean-Up Day: Saturday, April 20, 2024 9am – 12noon
This event is a great way to meet other members and provides an opportunity for teens or others to gain community service hours. Clean-up involves such activities such as trimming bushes and vines, raking the beach area of leaves and debris, cleaning docks, boats, picnic tables etc. Please bring, as available, rakes, shovels, hedge and branch cutters and work gloves. Coffee and doughnuts provided!
Woodside Lake members (and non-members if time slot available, to reserve space at the lake for private events, such as birthday parties, children’s camps, business social events. Please check this website for updates throughout the summer.
- Only one event per time slot is allowed to be scheduled and all current members are allowed to use the Lake during private events. Events must begin no earlier than 8:00 am and end before darkness, lasting no more than 4 hours.
- Rental Fees: Lake Members will be charged a minimum $100 rental fee for private events with 10 or more non-lake member attendees.
- Swimming in the lake or using the lake property is at the risk of the participant. The Event host must collect Waiver forms from each guest (or guardian).
- Non Lake Members sponsoring an event will be charged a minimum of $250 rental fee.
- Reserving space allows use of the picnic tables and boats/equipment. Please note that the Lake is still open to members during any Event.
